1 John: 3 17-18 But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him,
how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

ON JANUARY 12TH 2010
The 7.0 magnitude earthquake that rocked the country of Haiti left over 200,000 dead and an estimated 1 million homeless. 90% of the buildings in Port au Prince are gone. People are living in the streets, parks and amongst the rubble of what was once their home.

The Homes for Haiti-Colorado project is one way to provide relief to the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Temporary housing units are being built to provide more secure and private living space for the Haitian people.

Your donations will go to help support the costs of producing and shipping homes for the people of Haiti that have been displaced by the January 12th earthquake.

100% of all funds collected will be used for:
• Tools and equipment
• Building materials and supplies
• Shipping and fuel
• Food Service for Volunteers
• Marketing and Communication products

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Homes for Haiti-Colorado is looking for volunteers to build homes and help make a difference in Haiti.

Everybody is welcome to help out either by building or providing a helping hand to support volunteers.

The Volunteer Base Camp will be open on Saturdays from now until May from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

PRAISE CHURCH AND BELLA VILLA BUILDERS OF COLORADO are working in partnership with CORE Alliance on the Homes for Haiti project by setting up a local base camp to build temporary housing for the people in Haiti.

In addition communities in South Carolina are working together to build homes for the victims in Haiti. Our not for profit partners Orphan Grain Train and Friend Ships, will transport the homes from Denver and transfer the homes from the USA to Haiti for distribution.

For only $600.00, a modular home can be built and shipped to the disaster-stricken country. The custom-designed houses accommodate up to eight people. Once the sections are constructed, they will be stacked, banded and shipped to Haiti, where they can be assembled on site in two hours by volunteers on the ground. The volunteers will also anchor the homes in preparation for hurricane season.
